      I’m curious why this is considered “weirdly” straight. Isn’t every beam of light always exactly straight?
      Sure, you could “bend” light, through refraction at a surface, but it’s not curving. And gravitational lensing can bend light at astronomical scales, but I doubt OP is taking a picture at that scale.

      its a beacon. this means that someone near you has sucessfully spawned, and killed the wither, and obtained enough blocks to make a beacon
