Even though it makes complete sense to utilize sustainable energy sources in ways that don’t harm our environment, I’ve never been a vocal advocate of them. I’ve spent 20 years on this planet working in construction/extraction, and I grew up around environmental construction/remediation in the energy capital of the world. I’ve never liked the far left or the far right, but now I get all the yelling and screaming for this shit to stop. Who could honestly say they want this next to their property, who wants to work in a mine, and who wants a coal plant burning in their town?
