    1. It’s so someone looking over your shoulder that can see where you are touching can’t see which digits you are pressing. Next time you go through I bet the numbers are in a different place.

    2. Those are special keypad for more security, honestly those should be standard but I guarantee most people will fumble or not even know their pin, only the pattern.

    3. It’s called a scramble pad, and access control uses it to ensure no one can monitor the key presses or that wear on the screen, keys shows valid entries.

    4. It’s called a scramble pad. The digits shift around so people can’t get codes based on seeing wear you press or the physical condition of the pad. Like the pad to get into my complex they refuse to replace with the digits of the code completely worn off while all other digits are perfect. It takes anyone three seconds to guess the correct code.

    5. I would definitely fuck up my pin three times in a row and lock my card trying to use this.

      The numbers change every time someone puts in a pin so none can look at what buttons youre pressing and try to replicate it
