I’m 49yo and I go to concerts and music festivals all the damn time. I saw 45 shows last year and that’s counting 2 different three day festivals as “one” show each day. Total bands is probably close to 100. Don’t tell me what’s embarrassing son cuz it don’t matter to me

As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized how silly and insecure it is to do this. I’m paying my rent and taxes and my responsibilities are all taken care of.
So after all those things, I’m getting on that swing or playing that video game or going to that club or whatever else brings me joy in my very limited time on earth
