“Free” probably means 300€ per bracelet paid from public funds, and they are manufactured by a firm owned by the cousin of an influent party member.
There’s nothing “free” that a government can give.

Lithuania gives first-time voters a copy of the constitution. Hungary gives them a bracelet. You can tell which government wants you to read and which wants you to wear branded merch.

Is thay not just a bit useless and a waste of money? As well as just causing an increase in waste. Bracelets that will be thrown into the bin for landfill at the end of the week.
