The service quality, and actual medication availability will wildly change from not that bad, to, People bleeding out on the hall.
Current and past mexican administration, supplying hospitals with proper equiptment to operate is a joke.
However worse would be, have no insurance at all.

Another good reason to not live in Mexico.

Mexico achieved universal healthcare in 2012.
The current plan is simply a unifying and simplification of the system and isn’t even coming in for another few years.

I wish it would work in the US, but I know damn well it would be instantly abused and crumble with how our society functions.
With that, I’m fine paying for private healthcare, but what we need, is government enforcement of fair pricing. That would solve our only issue — which is unaffordability.

They should build a wall to keep statunitians away. And maybe get the US to pay for it

And what’s the joke? In my country, there has always been free medical care, and I think that it is really good that other countries are also introducing similar things

Is Mexico accepting US immigrants? I’ve been a home builder for 20+ years and my wife is about a year away from her teaching certificate. Visiting family would be easier than if we moved to the EU.

Yeah, shame is not that good anymore. The healthcare has gone to shit for the last few years with the new administrations (thanks MORENA).

Idk, that’s great and all, but they still have cartels that will put entire cities on lockdown through threat of violence and bodily harm.
Seems to be at conflict imo

Healthcare should be universal, but lets not live in fairy dream land about how amazing those programs are in other countries. Most of those programs in large countries have MAJOR flaws, the most noticeable being incredible wait times to recieve surgeries. Need a knee surgery? You’ll likely be waiting 6+ months for it. Atleast in America as it stands now, even on government subsidized plans, its a matter of weeks, not months.
If people truly want universal healthcare, you need to be honest with yourselves about the effectiveness of those plans. Dont just believe everything Berney Sandars says.
