    Barbra Streisand (1960)


    Barbara Joan "Barbra" Streisand (April 24, 1942) is an American singer, actress, songwriter, and filmmaker. Over a career spanning more than six decades, Streisand's success in the entertainment industry has included Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards.

      My mom was such a huge fan. I’ve seen every movie. My mom’s been gone a year now. Such good memories.

      As a young girl in the 60s and 70s I thought she was the most talented person on the planet. I admired her singing and acting and her sense of style. I thought she was beautiful and more importantly savvy and smart in her interviews. I still feel this way about her. eta: I should add I don’t always agree with her opinions on certain things, I am able to still admire her art

      My ex, the one who got away, looks like Barbara Streisand. Today also happens to be her birthday.
