I’m still baffled that the U.S. didn’t let the Free French take part in liberating their own country

The international space station involved 16 nations, took decades of work, and costed 30 times more money than D Day. It is the most expensive single object ever made in all of the thousands of years of history costing 150 billion dollars.
The ISS is the largest international project in history and nothing else comes close to it.
Doesn’t matter too much for this but the ISS does fit better in this meme

My grandpa (French-Canadian) was on Juno Beach and thats what he told me :
“The goddamn Anglo (English Canadian) made us (French-canadian) go first and only came down when we did manage to advance”
He was a Franco Ontarian.
Edit : I want to mention that he may have exagerated some stuff hahahaha

Proud day in Canadian history. We not only made our objectives on schedule, we actually had to slow down to let the Brits and Americans catch up.

We also have the spin off that takes place during the same time as the Soviet were preparing for Bagration (launched on June 22, a mere two weeks later)

I think WW1 is an even bigger cross over event despite being a smaller war.

True concidering Korean soldiers were taken prisonner.
Koreans captured by Russia, sent to eastern front, captured by Germans, sent to normandy, then captured by allies. Ultimate crossover.
