      Just because Iran agreed to a ceasefire after trumps threat doesnt mean the US won. All it means is it was a successful threat to bring them to the table. However, considering the deal is almost entirely benefiting Iran id say they won and will be in a stronger position. Things would have been better if trump left the Obama era nuclear agreement intact but of course everything Obama needs to be purged by him and replacement with the exact same thing or worse

      Part of me wants to say “don’t poke the bear”, simply because I’m afraid of the fact that this thin skinned lunatic has access to nukes. And I know some of us were convinced he was prepared to use them yesterday.

      But also, fuck Trump. He doesn’t deserve respect, not even because he has access to nukes. And after all the horrible shit the US has done to Iran these last several weeks… yeah, I hope they mock the hell out of him for the rest of his miserable life. This was by far a US defeat, no matter how Trump wants to frame it.

      Pretty much describes what has happen, the whole thing was a meaningless war / act of aggression. Iran is coming out of this in a stronger position and the US just pissed away any remaining goodwill.

      I honestly love the defiance, it’s a bad government in Iran but a lot of other American and western leaders could learn a thing or two from how they are not backing down.
