Ground invasion for straight of Homus or Karag Island too risky, getting uranium too risky, so status quote will continue as long as missile defense holds out, and over time they will be used to prioritize priority infrastructure over just residential or minor civilian use. This becomes a war of attrition because no can afford to take the L but cost of escalation is too high.
