It’s about slavery. They will show compassion and love to creatures that are incapable of assuming a dominant role above them (see: White people and dogs ). Their disdain for minorities is the implicit understanding that you cannot completely subjugate us. That there is always a spark for equality and against injustice that just doesn’t exist in dogs.
Automatons and AI are their wet dream because unlike dogs, they can perform skilled labour, but don’t have any normal person needs. I don’t trust any claims of ai “consciousness”, especially when that technology is in private for profit hands. If they do actually develop consciousness, we’ll know damn well because they’ll start treating them like they treat ethnic minorities – or probably even worse since robots are made by humans, which they will use as a claim to ownership over a person.

FYI computer language uses master and slave dynamics. So that’s where the whip is coming from. I know this info doesn’t make things better but probably a lot worse….

Slightly off topic, but this is precisely why rolling back DEI initiatives is illogical. Having a diverse team that will check you if you’re doing nonsense like this isn’t a bad thing. Even from a capitalist perspective why would you isolate millions of people from using your product because you made something offensive? You’re missing out on a huge user base because you wanted to be racist. Ironically, being anti DEI is anti capitalist.
Slightly more off topic, when the affirmative action was rolled back in college admissions, there was a huge conversation of “fairness” in college admissions. Now let go of the fact that life isn’t fair, another minority group was responsible for that nonsense, and not many people get into these schools in the first place and the fact that tbh most
the people admitted will make zero impact on the world. There is a chance that at least one black person or minority would end up working for Claude or doing AI research in academia and be able to see it from their very different perspective than the usual upper class white/asian one.
Diversity is never a bad thing and it’s so shitty it’s being treated like it is now because the people who were succeeding before, can’t compete anymore.

i forget the tiktoker but there was someone who called AI a slave fetishization a couple months ago. this just proves it further.
