In the summer when i get ALOT of crickets by my back door. I trap lizards alive, at night when the crickets come out i release the lizards.

Those are locust, I was expecting cockroaches which on comparison are not that bad.

I commented on a couple other comments but here are some photos of these same locusts in my Nevada town. They come through during summer every few years. This was our local hospital. You can search “Mormon crickets”. They’re giant, smell like burning garbage, and are cannibalistic. They’re absolute nightmare fuel.
They can get so thick on the highway roads that they create a slippery surface like ice and have caused bad accidents.
