Anything but a mask with these people holy I forgot that people hated masks. I only hated them because my damn glasses always fogged up.

The most I hated were the waiting lines and the FFP2 masks. Everything else was nice imo. Streets were empty, trips were cheap and life was calmer.

Now ppl are back to coughing on you bc they can’t even be bothered to cover their mouth.

And no coughing into a fist an inch away from your mouth is not covering your mouth.

    4. Kicker is that these aren’t the stupid ones. The issue is those in the government trying to fight against the scientists resulting in pretty much everyone having no idea what to believe.

And for whatever reason that ignorance has permeated through the country enough that enough people decided to vote the guy responsible for the ignorance back in.

    5. I went to an appointment with a surgeon on the first day our country opened up post lockdown. He told me that my cloth mask looked much more comfortable than his and he just couldn’t get it to sit right. It’s because he had it upside down. I assume he was fine when it came to surgical masks???

If you have a friend coming out of a 10 year coma – please show them these images and ask them to come up with explanations

    7. Is that a hoover filter connected to a mask? Some of these are truly moronic, just shows average ppl “intelligence”

I absolutely love the picture of the priest firing a water pistol at a baby

    9. Look like scenes out of some weird Guardians of the Galaxy side-trip. These humans are fuckin’ whacky.

    10. Let’s not forget that many people love a “project” and tackling problems in creative and silly ways. Especially if they’re bored at home.

I remember waiting in line to get into ShopRite (NJ), they would only let in a certain amount of customers. This was at the beginning of Covid, and one of the ladies in the line had a paper plate strapped to her face. I tried my best to laugh quietly.

Saw a video where a guy used an inflatable dino costume to take out the trash.

This could be a photo from any year at Wal Mart, not just the pandemic. That’s Wal Mart people doing Wal Mart things right there.

    14. My friend worked in a YMCA pre school and they stayed open because the essential workers needed childcare.

I made her some masks with a clear plastic window in the front so the kids could see her mouth as she spoke. This is apparently important for language development.

I was already sewing hundreds of masks but these were a challenge. I also made masks for guys with big beards.

      Twas a strange time.

    15. I bought a plague doctor mask as a souvenir about 4 weeks prior to the first covid lock downs. Possibly my best purchase to date.

    16. I was recently at a scientific conference at UPenn and spoke with a coronavirus expert and an epidemiologist during the lunch break. They both agreed there’s nothing stopping another animal to human virus from occurring that will be worse than COVID-19.

They also pointed out the current administration has eliminated much surveillance and efforts to create a more universal coronavirus vaccine. We are more vulnerable than ever for a reoccurrence.

    17. Don’t forget making DIY masks out of bandanas and coffee filters. Before N95s and hospital masks were available, that was the best option.

The pandemic was the fall of common sense , rise of power trips, stats manipulation, and scientific contradictions.

    19. So glad the worst of these times are behind us, I caught Covid five fucking times during these years, and the “anti-maskers” swore i was just faking it….. sure guys, im only faking my 103° fever, violent chills, and vomiting. For funsies.

At least people were trying to be safe

The next time there’s a global pandemic half of this stupid country won’t wear a mask just to prove a point

    21. The flutists are my favorite, i really want to have a conversation with the person who came up with that idea.
