i can’t even blame the dog. i used to do this to my cousin’s dog when i was younger, just lightly messing with him thinking it was funny, and he never bit me but one day he just got up and shook off right next to me after rolling in dirt and i was COVERED. i remember just sitting there like… yeah i probably deserved that. ever since then i feel like dogs always choose the most petty but harmless revenge and honestly i respect it lol
