Seems unbeleivable until you witness it

    1. Most dogs could do this if trained.

My dog can find anything in the undergrowth a human has left behind. He once located a hairband hanging on a branch about 3 feet above him.

That’s actually crazy to watch. The dog didn’t even hesitate, just locked onto the scent and went straight for it like it already knew where it was. Makes you realize how insane their sense of smell really is.

Not to brag but my beagle can do this too ( except it has to be food , she wont care for your pen )

      Dogs with jobs.

Most dogs don’t have jobs, but some do. For the disabled, security/policing, disease sniffing, emotional support, etc.

Don’t bother dogs with jobs when they are on the job, like anyone working.

    5. The fact that the reward for a job well done is Ball is so Collie. My BC loves ball more than a Brazilian soccer fan.

    6. Nahhh I don’t believe it, he must have bought a new one from market and placed it there, can you lift it and show if it is slimy or not?

It she/he following the scent of the ink or the latex that probably imprinted on the pen from camera guys glove?

    8. I waited to give this an upvote until I knew the Collie had found the pen, but I knew he would. Good Dog.

Might be a dumb question, but is the dog locating the pen by the scent of the ink coming off of the stationary pen alone, or can it also pick up the residual scent of the path where the pen flew?

    10. Is this guy wearing full body plate armour. Sounds like he’s dragging chainmail along with him

    11. My best friend had a Dalmatian like this. We be in the backyard and act like we throw a ball in the field. Dog takes off 100mph running into the field. When out of view, I turn around and chuck the ball over the house in the opposite direction in another field. 5 min later dog shows up with the ball. Every time. Even tried to hide it in a tree once. Nothing worked 😂❤️❤️

I would like to see what happens if you throw 10 pens into the field. Does the dog recover the correct one?

I have seen this exact video on Reddit too many dang times to count. I need to log off.
