As someone who was born in and grew up in the Appalachian portion of Ohio, JD isn’t from there. He’s from middletown which is like 50 miles away from Appalachia, over between Dayton and Cincinnati. This guy isn’t a hillbilly he’s just a scamming con artist who likes to lie and grift. Anyone remember when he complained about fact checking at the vice presidents’ debate during the campaign?
Edit: Quick correction as there is a little dip of Appalachia over by Cincinnati, he’s probably closer to like 30 miles away from Appalachia. The point remains that he still isn’t actually from Appalachia and is just pretending to be a hillbilly for the grift.
