Guaraldi wrote this song the day he was asked to create the soundtrack for the Charlie Brown Christmas special. He literally called the producer he’d just met and played it over the phone to see what he thought. Such a talent!

If you like Vince Guaraldi, you might want to give George Winston a listen. He idolized Vince. And seeing George Winston in concert was one of the most energetic shows I’ve ever been to. For just a piano!
