Watching it live, still can’t believe it. It’s absolute amazing

    2. Sad that this is overshadowed by current political shitshow. Everyone I know had little idea that this was even scheduled for today.

As far as I understand, this mission is to leap around and come back. This will also be the furthest we will go if this is accomplished. The landing of Moon will take sometime in 2028 and there are several more missions similar to this will take place before then.

I love Scientists so much. Imagine if we budgeted towards beautiful things like this.

It’s really sad that the world is in such a state that this isn’t much much huger news. I’m sitting here like holy shit, and I didnt really hear about it until yesterday.

Anyone else get irrationally angry that instead of showing the booster separations the feed was showing a bunch of random people sitting in camping chairs?

    7. The camera work is frankly frustrating to watch!

The screen went black right when the rocket was lifting off and clearing the tower. The footage was shaky most of the time and then, right when the SRBs were to be ejected, they switched to showing people sitting around!

It felt like watching the Office during the fire episode!!

Marching in protests and watching moon launches. Apparently I must have time traveled back to 1967 at some point.
