We had a few close up here in Alaska as well. I can’t say I miss the one they closed on Spenard, but it’s pretty interesting that Wendy’s is closing so much so fast.
Fries suck now. Never should have changed.
I love Wendy’s breakfast and all three locations near my work and home closed at about the same time with no notice.
Why do people always leave us here in Hawaii out? And Alaskans too…

This is bad news for wallstreetbets.
Wendy’s has been so fucking bad for so long. Damn shame considering the quality they used to represent. I go like once every year or so when I’ve momentarily forgotten just how bad the entire experience is, and then I’m reminded.

The high price of beef can’t be helping. Wendys is easily more popular than McDs here and our very small city now has two Wendys. But there are also a lot of new fancy burger places as competition: it seems like a terrible time to open one of these businesses.
The Yelp reviews for all the Wendy’s in my part of the world read like a coordinated takedown.
They are just passing through and opening them up in our area.
There are relatively limited chains around so they will do just fine.
