    1. Any particular reason they are stamping the paw prints on the omelette when they’re just going to cut and spread it immediately after?

The sauce and the meat part looked a bit excessive. With less of that it would be a nice dish

    3. It’s so far from the original オムライス that it shouldn’t be called that anymore, it also looks like it’s made for tourists

    4. Looks like the wish.com version of that other guys omelette that folds down over the rice

Why do the branded paw prints on the omelette just to cut it open and immediately obscure them from view?

    6. Bummer. Here I was , hoping the inside would be liquidy enough to cascade over the rice beneath once cut open….

    7. This isn’t the same dish. You definitely lost me with the glob of cheese and the big old hamburger steak.

Another omurice video, another random comment that cant help themselves by saying “it’s raw”. 🙄

That is the most orange egg I have ever seen. Of course the chickens are well taken care of there

      Unpopular opinion

Japanese is the British cuisine of Asia

It’s not even in the top 10 in terms of taste .

They pride more in giving complex names for slightest variations, superior ingredients, less spices, bland taste ( in Asia ) , popular just because they come from a “superior country”

If you want to try really good asian cuisine, try malaysia or Indonesia

Also IMO, british food isn’t that bad as the reputation just too basic ..

    11. Yall acting like there’s literally only one acceptable way of making any dish…

As someone that has lived in Japan (and across east Asia for many years) many If not most dishes have a TON of regional varieties and styles.

The whole weird western white-knighting thing of “thats not the exact traditional way of doing that, so it’s offensive to __ culture… bla bla isn’t really a thing to the majority of people that actually live there..

They like variety just as much as any other culture. And franky, It’s pretty rude and infantalizing to tell *other* cultures how to feel about their own foods, customs, traditions, etc……

People are allowed to like cross-cultural foods.. its doesn’t inherently have to be some sacm or cash-grab.

    12. It’s almost like they’ve been cooking for thousands of years before America existed lol

    13. Always this “in japan” as if making omurice that way is normal. That looks super gimmicky and aimed towards tourists and is also most likely one super specific location.

You know what would be a great use for AI? Removing this useless music from otherwise-good videos

    15. What is the surface of griddles like these? They seem quite nonstick with minimal oil. Can you get a pan of similar material? What about something like the size of a blackstone?
