Yes, it did work. This is a painting of Edward Jenner inoculating James Phipps with live cowpox virus. Cowpox is a much less deadly disease than smallpox, and being sick with a round of cowpox dramatically reduces the severity of subsequent smallpox and the likelyhood that you will catch it in the first place.

That’s Edward Jenner. He took the pus from a cowpox blister on the hand of a milkmaid and scratched it into the boy. The boy became immune to smallpox. It was the first “vaccine”, which just means “cow” (from the Latin vacca), and anti-vaxers then were afraid of turning into cows (fuelled by historical satirical cartoons just like now: “The Cow-Pock—or—the Wonderful Effects of the New Inoculation!” (1802)).

Actually if you look into it, everyone who sought or followed any kind of advice from so called “medical experts” from the entire 18th and 19th centuries has died. NONE OF THEM FOLLOWED Dr Oz or RFK jrs advice. Which, I think, gives a lot of weight to what antivaxers and RFK Jr are saying. You need more proof? Kennedy’s Dad, Uncles,aunts and grandparents were all vaccinated and then died. That is pure scientifical fact right there. Go MAGA!!!
