It is fascinating to see how doing this is so deeply encoded in their DNA. They were hatched away from the shore but the second they hit the sand they know which way is home.

My wife and I happen to be walking down the beach in Cabo San Lucas last year and there was a gentleman releasing turtles. It was really cool to be part of that. We put on some rubber gloves and got to hold one for a minute. An experience I’ll never forget.
