Growing up my grandma planted regular daffodils, and a type she called “scrambled eggs” that looked a lot like that double one in your image. Sometimes the bulbs would be so close together before dividing that it looked like they were growing from the same spot but it was actually two different cultivars. This was 50 years ago, so they’ve been around for quite awhile.
