That’s one old brick!
Made in the 60’s, at the Wrexham factory in the UK apparantly.
Could be Samsonite in the US, but they had even worse QC, so guess the logoes are too even for that 😀

Those are 2 different bricks.
One is a red 2×4 brick. The other is a red 4×2 brick.

your kid has absolute eagle eyes tbh. i would have stepped on that thing 100 times and never once noticed the logo was sideways.

Oh yea ones a 2×4 the other is a 4×2, can be hard to pick the difference.

Whenever I build a set, I have this stupid self-imposed rule whereby the logo on each piece has to be facing a certain direction if possible. If I was building something with this I’d definitely notice…and then it would drive me insane.
