Story time:
During highschool, I was friendly with everyone and forgot many people’s names. Instead of awkwardly asking many times “what’s your name?”, i called them buddy.
I would say hey buddy to everyone. They knew me as the buddy guy that would say “HEEEEEYY BUDDDDY!”.
Little did they know, i only did that because i didn’t know anyone’s name. Surprised i made it through high school without that awkward conversation.
