I just recently discovered and bought a copy of the 1st official circulating coin in the United States, a 1787 Fugio Cent, design inspired by Ben Franklin and vastly different from today, interpreted as “Time flies, so mind your business.”

Not a coil collector but this is more than mildly interesting to me although I am into history and the Revolutionary era so thats probably why but really nice find!

It looks like fake ones run about $20 or so. Real ones go from $4k to $25k or so.
