    1. I keep my dolls in a cabinet in the living room. She must be a collector, it was much more common to collect dolls in the 70s (when I started).

    2. Believe it or not, we had the lobster and the large clock (that looked like a giant antique stopwatch) in the 70s. They were both made of plastic.

    3. The hobo Christmas party unlocked a core memory! I vaguely remember doing hobo day in maybe kindergarten. I remember my mom putting a fake patch on my pants and wearing suspenders, and a sack on a stick for my belongings. We ate baked beans out of a crock pot in the classroom.

    4. The half moon shelves were very popular in the 1950s. I could display your little lefton and Josef figurines on them.

    5. Number 8/20 Holy crap, now THAT is what I call a real dolls house. Wow, would you look at that?! I’d be ecstatic even as an adult to have something so remarkable as that is. Incredible.

    6. My mom has that same punch bowl & cup set, in picture 13. She got it as a wedding present, & we used it for just about every party, baby shower, etc in the family!!!:

Photo #9 how is the resolution so clear on the tv? And what does that cake say??

    8. #7 makes me happy. He’s not wearing shoes! For whatever reason, when I look at old pictures, it has caught my attention that nearly everyone was wearing shoes in pictures. That man finally looks as if he’s truly relaxing!

When these old random photos are shown I keep expecting to see myself in one of them.
