    1. classifying your tens of thousands of “employees” as contractors does tend to improve your revenue per employee stat.

      society is lost
even tho, it doesnt really work that way. But still frightening how many questionable people are out there

Makes sense. The Internet was created by the government and spread because of porn.

    4. Are we excluding valve corporation because they last available figures are from like 5 years ago? Because even if they are old data, it would still put them at the very top and by a lot.

I like how this is just a list of all the companies whos leading individuals are the cause of most of our worlds problems. Then there’s OF at the top just selling porn

    6. Something like 20% of women from 18 – 29 years old are on Only Fans in the USA.

      That’s 1 out of 5 women.

America is finally great again. 🙂

    7. My comment will be off topic, since it is about content creators and not profitability. But this include : OF, Meta, Alphabet, and Apple and Tesla owner since they also have majority shake in social medias.

Perhaps that’s just me, I’m not a paid user of any website. But to me, from what I understood of the market, it seems like Onlyfans is the best platform for creators, pornographic or otherwise.
I’ve been told the bandwidth is the costliest part of their business. And OF is not a stranger to that problem. Yet, I hear numerous story of content creator getting rich on OF while they couldn’t, or at least not in the same scale, in other website.
I’m well aware that the average content creator on OF earn less than 200 a month, and only 0.1% of them can make a living out of it. That’s much more than in any other platform.

I’m not saying OF is sain or good for the society, but to me, it gives much more money to content creator than any others.
And the math teachers making more money from pornhub than from youtube for the exact same video, is the same part of the issue.

    8. Well, yeah, online marketplaces that bypass the whole “employees” thing by having “creators” or similar titles instead tend to do very well by this specific metric…

    9. Would this include revenue to the content provider as well or is this only what OnlyFans the company makes?

Who is buying porn like this??? This is like buying Voss water from the store to take a bath.

What does it say about me that I refuse to pay for this, when I can get it for free, endlessly, elsewhere. Is it the perception of exclusivity or the illusion of a personal connection with the creator, that makes people pay for memberships?

    12. I still don’t understand how people sail the seven seas for all mainstream movie, tv, music, games even but OF gets respect to not be cracked open, the old porn studios had all their media stolen, put on the hubs and nobody cared, OF is such an oddity

    13. This is also ONLY TECH. The Fortune 200 business I work for would be #3 on this list.

Onlyfans takes a quarter of its creator’s revenue. It’s extortion. Every single creator there would go to another site if it we’re reasonable and only took something like five to ten percent

    15. unique_plastique on

It’s because onlyfans only has 42 employees. Models/content creators arent counted

    16. Jellicent-Leftovers on

It’s not …. Valve blows it out of the water at like 50 million per employee. I think Craigslist might even beat it…. Amongst many others

Artists and athletes for example getting paid threw a company would have many above this.

    17. So counting their creators as employees reduces their revenue per employee massively. It’s almost like operating a platform for selling other people’s content is a good way of outsourcing employee count.
