The Canada lynx has large wide paws that act like snowshoes allowing it to move across deep snow without sinking. This gives it a clear advantage over prey animals that struggle to move through heavy snow.

Kinda like how Soviet tanks had wider treads which gave them lower ground pressure, so they didn’t sink into the mud like the German ones did

    2. Well now I want to see this majestic ass beast run on top of the snow and you left you hanging.

I should be banned from going out in nature bc I would 1000% get my face eaten off trying to pet that fuzzy bb 🥲

I just noticed this lynx has larger paws compared to other cats. I bet it helps them across deep snow without sinking. Neat!

wow Pawbert Lynxley from Zootopia got so loved people made him into real life

    6. It took me a second to realize the video was in slow motion and the cat was NOT trying to be seductive.

    7. It looks like it’s paws are fitted like loose socks and gloves that are too big.

    8. It’s too bad, as their most common prey is called the ‘snowshoe hare.’ This stupid video gets it completely backwards, Canada Lynx have big paws to walk on snow because their primary prey also have big paws to walk on snow.
