People always compartmentalize history. Then it hit me that a popular living actor who doesn’t seem that old was alive before Loving vs Virginia.
Similar thought occurred when watching attack of the mushroom people realizing that most of the Japanese cast was Alive during WWII.

I find it crazy how long it stayed a taboo, my parents got married in 2003-ish and my dad says a lot of my older family members told him it was a bad idea since she was Mexican (mestizo)
