Went to Woodstock with friends in 1969. I had bought these tickets in advance. By the time I got to Woodstock (haha), there was nobody to accept or tear the tickets. We were able to sit to the left of the stage as soon as Richie Havens started. Only stayed there for a day and a half. My friends and I were soaked so we traveled to nearby Middletown where the towns people greeted us with open air picnic tables and lots of food and drinks in their public park. It was a wonderful experience.

Hell yeah.
Thanks for sharing
But did you take the brown acid?
Wow! I was too stupid to save my concert ticket stubs. Good for you. Exceptionally cool. Probably worth a pretty penny too.
That’s seriously priceless.
Totally groovy!
What was your standout memory from the day and half you were there?
In a world where all tickets have gone digital…all our old stubs will one day be worth a ton.
$7.00 each…that’s the deal of the century ✌️
That’s a very odd looking person lol
And now you got Bonnaroo for like $500
those woodstock tix look so legit man. total time machine.
Keep these forever and pass them down.
Maybe consider getting them authenticated.
# Rule 6 – Must feature a person
Hmm. Seems more expensive than I would have thought of (dollars in 1969).
I still have my Woodstock ticket for Sunday. We didn’t want to pay $21 for the whole weekend, but we did want to see Hendrix. I was working as a lifeguard that summer. $21 was 2 days pay. Unfortunately I never got there. Started out late the roads were jammed. Didn’t know it was going to be as big a thing as it was
You could have just gate crashed like everyone else.
I had a professor who bought tickets. However, as the weekend approached, he saw that the weather was going to be bad and didn’t think a lot of people would go. So, he decided not to go.
I think it haunts him to this day.
Imagine demanding your $7 back
7.00 adjusted for inflation is 62.04 X 3 is 186.12.
God that is so much better than today.
The Venn diagram of people that went to Woodstock and people that save ticket stubs
I remember watching the news reports about Woodstock, in about a month I was gonna turn 11 years old.
I remember some ads in Rolling Stone back in the 70’s selling unused Woodstock tickets.
those tiks look so legit from back then
You couldn’t even go and see a shitty local band of teenagers for $21 these days.
So very cool jealous
69 😏
