The Tomb of Payava is a Lycian tall rectangular barrel-vaulted stone sarcophagus, and one of the most famous tombs of Xanthos in Turkey. It was built in the Achaemenid Persian Empire, for Payava, who was probably the ruler of Xanthos in 360 BCE. Now housed at the British Museum [2244×1717]

Slight size discrepancy between the two pictures…
The similarity with Indian stone architecture of the time is insteresting, I didn’t realise its influence had spread so far west before the Greek styles pushed east and mixed with those of India.
