You laugh but 8 remember being pulled up for getting into work and sitting at me desk at 9am. It takes a few mins for my pc to load and for me to be ready to start working but I see that was part of my work. Was told I needed to be sitting, logged in and working at 9 which meant I should be arriving before 9 to spend those few mins getting THEIR equipment setup.
So I did that but would turn it around by spending my last few mins before 5 getting shutdown so I would be walking off at exactly 5.
Tried to discipline me. Got my union involved. Won.
Companies can be so petty.

This video is how I discovered the VAIO brand of laptops didn’t just get killed by Sony. I had no idea it was under other ownership. I was looking up when Sony stopped producing them (2014) and saw that they are still being made.

I swear some people wait until 4:30 to actually do anything. The number of times I’m contacted at 4:45 to solve an issue that could have been solved hours ago is too man high.
