The guys already got away with rape, insurrection, corruption at a grand scale, fraud and more.
Face it, he’s never going to see a jail cell and will die a billionaire with millions of supporters.

If you still need it illustrated to you that Trump’s cult of personality following has no consistent values and no sense of individuality because they live vicariously *through* Donald Trump and their entire identities are wrapped up in their unconditional support for him, then look no further.
MAGA has made it abundantly clear that they think empathy is something of a curse. Cruelty is their creed. See Trump’s post about Robert Mueller ffs…
The double standard, the hypocrisy, whatever you want to call it, is *baffling.*
Scott Bessent just had the audacity to demand empathy for Trump… When him and his supporters are characteristically cruel, antagonistic, offensive, and often resort to name-calling, mockery, incivility, etc…
Trump feeds on toxicity, he’s a plague, a pestilence, and he constantly demands loyalty and sympathy because he believes he’s the most victimized person on the planet. But in reality, he’s the most divisive public figure in recent memory.
He relies on the use of inflammatory rhetoric to rile up his base and appeal to their frustrations, their bigotry, their culture war grievances, and their intense hatred of his opponents.
His allies insist you have empathy for him, that you disregard his dangerous and distasteful rhetoric, that his behavior is benign.
But Trump is not benign, he is not beyond reproach. He’s a malignant narcissist whose appalling behavior is being enabled by his groveling supporters.
And when someone dares to give him a taste of his own medicine, or has the gall to question him, challenge his authority, criticize him or tell a joke at his expense, it’s knives out.
They’re all so damn fragile, and they seem to revel in their hypocrisy, almost as if they feel like they’re entitled to act this way.
“The party of personal responsibility” can’t seem to take responsibility for anything.
Trump’s obsequious base will instinctively jump to his defense, rationalize his every word or action, insist that he’s incapable of wrongdoing, and treat him as if he’s some kind of God.
So yes, if you still need it demonstrated to you that Trump’s diehard followers will go to any length to justify his misconduct, then look no further than the barrage of online posts and public pleas from his sniveling sycophants who are all making excuses for Trump’s sociopathic behavior and disgusting comments.
