Saif of Ali.

The Saif at Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib – a straight-bladed sword attributed to Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib, inscribed with the names of Ali, Fatimah, Hassan, and Hussain, Quranic verses, and engravings of the sun, moon, and stars.

It likely passed through the Timurid-Mughal imperial relic collections before Bahadur Shah I presented it to Guru Gobind Singh Ji as part of a Khilat after the Guru aided his succession in 1707.

It sits alongside the Khanda Dudhara used by Guru Gobind Singh in 1699 Baisakhi, the Nagni Barcha of Bhai Bachittar Singh, and the Guru’s own Katar and Barcha.

I cannot find much information on it. Could I have some sources to read more about it? 🙂
