My dad and his friends have run the same fantasy baseball league since 1986.

Maybe a silly question, do they take this plaque back to the sign shop every year to have the new line added?

80’s kid here. Seeing how many less years between 1986-2000 there are, than from 2000-2025 just gave me a few more grays.

    4. Are the San Luis Obispo Shogun (1986), Boston Bass (1987), and San Leandro Lazers (1999) owners still playing?

One championship each and none are from this century.

    5. What’s with the team names? Were a bunch chosen at the start and then just rotated between players every year?

    6. How is MVP decided? Most points? Some other formula with points and position? Voting? Can you win MVP if the team you’re on doesn’t do well?

    7. Sadly no. Unfortunately a number of them have died over the last couple years. 🙁

    8. Man that is bad ass. I’m on year 9 as commish on mine currently, I hope to keep it going until I die.

    9. Miguel Cabrera MVP for 3/4 years on three separate teams is the definition of carrying 👏
