You should always save the confirmation, just in case. On the Discover app, when you pay your bill, they automatically add a “Save to Photos” button on the screen.

Every single invoice i ever paid is in my bank history.
Complete with invoice number, account paid and dates.

I do the same. And I overpay my last monthly bill. Last internet bill before I move is $55? Here’s $58. I’d rather get that $3 paper check back 2 months later to prove that we’re square.
