    1. they really think interrupting the best part of the video is gonna make me want to spend money… the delusion is real lmao

Very true. I take note and avoid. This happens the most with the loud, bizarre ads.

    3. I really don’t understand their thought process. Your ads are not going to make me want to buy or shop, I’m just annoyed I have to watch your fucking ad.

It’s fucking wild how bad ads got. We use to get one random ad per video.

Now we have 6 unskippable ads every 5 minutes and are told we deserve it for not paying more.

The more these chumps try to interrupt what i want to watch, the more I wish to sail the seven seas…..

    6. It’s not about the product. It’s about brand recognition. So they actually want you to hate their whole brand.

I *wholeheartedly* agree with this, but can we stop spamming the same memes every 4 hours so we can still enjoy this site?

    8. And yet the reason we are having this conversation is that these ads and their interruptions are effective, despite our feelings toward them.

    9. they really don’t care, because they are aiming to catch the whale. the few people that are willing to spend thousands of dollars on their business. this is unfortunately why we get so many ads, because of the few that will always fall for it.

    10. The marketing team thinks they’re building ‘Brand Awareness.’ They’re actually building ‘Brand Hostility’.

    11. Youtubers can put how many ads there are in videos and where they play, so hate them as well

    12. I downvote the ad report it as low quality ai slop and buy there compititions product to spite them

Sometimes I put on those long videos to sleep to, then wake up to some wild ad about energy drink or something. I dont mind ads if the content creator is the one making it but commercial ads make my blood boil.

    14. They are not expecting you to go buy the item immediately when seeing the ad, but when you see the same ad multiple times, even if you’re not paying attention, you will remember the brand/product/slogan, so in the future if you want to buy the thing, that brand will be the first to come to mind

    15. every extra ad just convinces me to never buy from that brand out of pure spite 😭

Yeah, but the point is to annoy you into paying for the “premium” version.

    17. Ive noticed this especially in streaming platforms with their ad tier that they play the same 3 ads over and over again. So if your binging a series you have to watch the same ad probably 20-30 times in the first season alone.

One day, companies are gonna realize that we have been conditioned to ignore ads of any and all kinds.

It could even be something I’m interested in, and I’m still ignoring that shit.

    19. I will never buy Raycon because of this Eveytime I hear or see the name I get annoyed
