This is perfect! I was looking forward to the day I could get a bike that can jump on tables and do flips.

    2. Part of me will never understand why we spend so much time and energy trying to make robots bipedal… just let the scoot/roll/jump around

    3. I envision people slapping AI and some guns onto this. What could possibly go wrong?

It’s gonna be scary when they start replacing police with these

It’s gonna be terminator or metal gear solid irl

The end of humanity as soon as AI tells the robots we are the fleas on the dogs back!!!

Cool. So not only will robots be hunting people down soon, they’ll be doing sick flips while doing it. This future sucks.

    7. I feel like my great grandchildren will be living underground tinkering with a 3d printed “spoke guns” which is purely for disabling these things that rule the surface

Oh awesome, the robots will be doing sweet-ass flips and tricks while they annihilate us. Cool cool cool

I guess its cool but honestly what practical purpose does this serve humanity. It’s just r+d for the military.

    10. Wtf is this post. 2 minutes of googling told me that this thing is not called ringbot, it’s obviously not a monocycle, it is developed by Robotics an AI Institute (RAI), and i didnt see anything about “internal legs.” Sure, it seems to be a real thing, with a real video, but every single other detail about this post is wrong in some pretty wild ways. Idk if that means OP is a bot, but it’s just wild how you can get that much detail wrong. Let’s do better

    11. This has to be ai right? Something about this seems off but I can’t put my finger on it
