I don’t think anything really changed at the airport

    1. I spent way too long looking for a difference before realizing that is exactly the point painfully accurate.

That’s because they are getting back paid and aren’t legally allowed to strike. They still all get paid if they show up to work though don’t think your tax money is being saved right now, it’s just being spent in a really stupid way.

    3. Paid or unpaid, they will still defend this nation from the catastrophic threat of a 4.1-ounce bottle of shampoo

Last year I flew and my line was 15 min long.

Last month it was 2 hours at the same airport, same day of the week, and close to the same time.

This is simply a propaganda attempt to downplay the isssue.

*still takes less than two hours* “WTF THIS IS AWFUL!” Reddit for some reason still

Just flew back and forth last week, no precheck, no premium line skip program, it was fine.

Bullshit. At the busiest airport in the world, Atlanta, I would consistently get through security in 15-20 min or much less with similar results elsewhere. Reports are now that it’s multiple hours because Dementia Don decided to cut funding.

“I dont think anything really changed at the airport”

“When was the last time you went to the airport?”

“Oh Ive never been on a plane”

Except now all those “important executives” have to loudly conduct their “urgent business” to complete “those mulit-million dollar deals mergers” while standing in the security line rather than the Sky lounge. Of course they will still look around to see if anything they said impressed anyone.

Funny, but completely disingenuous. Lines are on the street and are absolutely insane right now.

    10. Now imagine you’re a TSA agent who hasn’t been paid, and someone reaches out to you on telegram with an opportunity to make a quick buck…

    11. If you don’t have precheck yet, you are fucking up. $85 at most covers you for 5 years. I’ve never waited more than 10 mins EVER.

I fly 30x+ a year and it’s rare TSA is over 15 mins unless it’s a major holiday or you have the extreme misfortune of flyinf out of CHA. This post gotta be upvoted by people who never fly.

      Blatant propoganda.

The line at the austin airport went from about an hour wait (on a particularly bad day) to over 3 hours, with the line going outside the door and down the lane.

I mean they should just do away with the TSA all together, it’s a relic of the Bush Era.

I tried getting a TSA job but was given the classic “We are moving on to other candidates” email after a long waiting process for my interview. Interview took 1 hour and was ended shortly because they said we were finished, despite being told it would take 3 hours total. Idk if it’s because the two people thought I wasn’t physically fit or not “confident” enough to join but hearing this now I’m glad I didn’t TSA

They can stay overworked and underpaid, especially the interviewers
