I don’t understand people freaking out with DLSS 5… where were you guys the least years? It was very obviously commig to that… the only affordable way to improve graphics while being commercially feasible is with AI, and i think that we should use as much as we can.
We did everything we could with software: we have the most powerful graphic engines in forever, and if you compare the evolution in features frome one generation to another, you’ll notice that the more time passes less we see room for improvement. AI, when used like this, as a tool, is what pushes commercial software and hardware boundaries.
“Oh, but it changes too much the original characters”, you can see the difference Sora, from google, could achieve in less than a year of being around. Be patient, AI requires training and development, just as any other tool. This will improve and we will benefit from it.
And last, if you don’t like it, is fine. Nobody is forced to use it, as nobody was with any other DLSS we had until now, and if people decide not to use it, as we did with a lot of features from NVIDIA, they’ll simply remove and move on.

No it really isn’t optional because DLSS is the only way you can get new games to get decent frames unless you have a top end GPU.

I get where you’re coming from, to each their own and all that, but at the same time, if your first thought is “Can I turn this off?”, then the tech is probably not that fine.
This is from the Cospie event in Taiwan apparently, which is a lewd cosplay event according to other redditors. I remembered it being posted here before shortly after the first season released.
So not exactly porn, but also, it’s not NOT porn….
