Valid crash out from Nanahoshi

    1. Most shows skip the part where you’d actually be terrified of dying from a common cold because antibiotics don’t exist yet

    2. Being from Bosnia and still stuck in Bosnia getting isekaid af would hardly be bad

Fr. I would crash tf out too if I got isekai to a world with magic but I’m the only one without mana. Beside, my family would worry sick if I suddenly gone missing

But anyway, I like how the author used Rudy and Nanahoshi to show the differences between the two types of isekai (reincarnation vs transported)

    4. alter_spieler1 on

I mean in Nanahoshi case she’s different from Rudeus, Rudeus got reborn in six faces world, and he starts a new story and grow up like a normal human being, while Nanahoshi literally got teleported straight to the verse, leaving her unable to accept what she needs to bear

      So this reaction is reasonable

    5. Tbf, she already had a good life back at earth, unlike people like rudeus, she doesn’t need a second life to correct her mistakes and escape her past life, she just wants to live a good with her friends and family(atleast based on what I last remember reading the novel), I’d crash the fuck out too especially with her current conditions

    6. There is a lot of hate on the OP (who is definatly in the beginning quite problematic) but I welcome all the tough events they showcase. Great show overal.

Personally I probably would be more like Rudeus in my reaction to being reincarnated.

I do have people i love and care for but this place sucks id be happy to be in another world that might suck less and magic is real.

Entirely depends on what your life was like before hand. That’s why most modern isekai start with people who’ve literally been worked to death at a dead end job and have no close loved ones.

    9. WhyHowForWhat on

Oh trust me, this is valid crash out. I read enough Isekai where it’s just all around shit especially if you are a woman.

    10. Me thinking I can redo my life, but I still make the same mistakes I did from my past life. And now I wanna go back because at least there’s the internet back there

    11. MeanOlGoldfish on

Shit I’d crashout too. Everyone likes to act like they’d be okay with fighting to the death or constantly being in near death situations.

Sure magic and swords are cool but you know what? I’d rather be at home on my couch than by a campfire worrying about monster and bandit attacks.

    12. If you have an average life, with parents who care for you and friends, family, lovers- being ISEKAI’d would be pretty horrific- specially considering the Isekai Transfer Nanahoshi had. No magical abilities, no hax, not being reborn, just a straightforward transfer without any benefits-

That sounds horrific. The entire ISEKAI fantasy is usually one of a power fantasy of starting a new life full of wonder and power in a new world full of magic. But if you’re just transfered and you only lose things (loved ones, family, friends, maybe a job you life, a life you like) and gain nothing in return?

I think you’d probably hate it too.

Rudeus was a failure of a human being who got a new chance at life- he got the golden package, magical powers, time to adapt, rebirth, and new loving parents.

Subaru got the Dark Souls treatment.(Which IS pretty crazy, if you think about it. Imagine if you got sent to Faerun or some other fantasy world, and you had to take on an Ogre. How many times would you get broken in half painfully until you managed to git gud? Would your mind survive getting broken and eaten again and again?)

      Nanahoshi got nothing, really.

Getting Isekai’d without some power-gift is just…a curse.

Most series (including this one) also forget that just because the MC reincarnated, it doesn’t mean he’s an entirely new person. A bum who wasted away decades of his life doesn’t become the most hardworking, dedicated person the next day, even if they get a second chance. It takes time, effort, and continuous willpower to prevent yourself from relapsing into your old habits and spiralling down to rock bottom again. Even then, you’d need months, even years, to change yourself, and nothing like that ever happens in any isekai
The only exception I know is Re: Zero. The MC is having mental breakdowns every two episodes

    14. Honestly that would be my initial reaction. Probably take a few weeks to accept reality. Then just make the most of the situation

    15. When you get isekaid but you weren’t some lonely weeb and actually had a life and future prospects

    16. CursedVirtue on

It’s even worse because >!she doesn’t age. I don’t remember how long she’s been there by that point of the story either, but at least a few years. the main character reincarnated as a baby and we follow him trying to better himself after dying miserable and alone, which makes his and Nanahoshi’s interactions that much richer!<

    17. Oh, this is the scene where the jobless reincarnation was shocked after this girl rejected his proposal to be his 4th wife.

    18. SmugShinoaSavesLives on

I, too, would crash out if I were to be reborn in the isekai world formed by Epstein’s vision.

    19. Fuck me man, I forget how curling her scream was. I remember how bad I felt cause my god, she really wants to go home. I remember her talking about how much she hated living in a medieval time without many of the common quality of life’s modern day has shits crazy.

A missing person is objectively a terrible scenario. Cause if you died, at least people have sort of closure. If a character “died” to get transported that’s sorta less tragic. Tragic back home cause everyone you love knows you’re dead. Is sad that you’re dead. Likely had a funeral for you and everything. While being missing means that people have hope you’re still alive and keep clinging to that hope. They pray that one day you’ll return and it hurts them more the longer you’re gone.

I think the Isekais where some “god” throws the character into the situation for the lulz is the worst. “Oh yeah you’re stuck here now. I give you all these things. Have fun. Entertain me.”

      not when you have

      ADHD

      you are born in india

you can’t handle illiterate indians around you who just watch their TVs with loud volume all day long or the people who just start scrolling short form content mindlessly every 15 minutes that too without using any earphones or thinking about their or your privacy and space. so you just cannot do your thing in peice.

      thin bone structure

      you forget everything

      struggles to speak fluently.

you procrastinate all the time even sleeping

you can’t keep up with the rest of the world

classic “above average at everything yet not special in anything”

you are pursuing computer engineering in a 3rd tier college

you have all the muscle imbalances in the world which can’t let you grow stronger no matter what and on top of that you were born in a vegan family

you just can’t seem to fathom the culture of your people because everything seems backwards to you

you have only 1-2 good friends in this world everyone else seems plastic

you were suicidal over so many little things so many times but you just couldn’t do it.

and the only thing that brings you joy is traveling to new places, nostalgia, your childhood memories, watching anime, sports, drawing, programming and just learning everything you find interesting and of course fantasizing yourself as an anime MC…

so yeah I’d react pretty differently than this. just teleport me already.

    22. Watch Campfire Cooking in Another World. Guys super power is basically having a magic version of Amazon that teleports him stuff from our world. Dude is living the dream.

    23. Mega_BiteZer on

In all realistic technically, Isekai’d would be the same thing as being reincarnation, in Buddhism they believe in reincarnation which would be dying and coming back as something or someone different, babies usually are born crying fresh out the womb like they’ve just died and came back into life still crying from the moment they are brought back to consciousness. So in this video where she’s overreacting to which the video is titled “most realistic reaction to being Isekai’d” makes alot of sense because in the same way a baby comes out the womb crying, she comes reincarnated or “Isekai’d” into a world but with a fully developed body instead and crashes out in that world as the character she is, like the same way a baby would.

    24. I meant if you were not given op skill and a harem that would be anyone’s reaction.
