Trump nearly destroyed the Obama economy. If he had done nothing he might have been reelected in his 2nd run, because killing a million US Americans was not the tipping point for most voters.
But he is a narcissistic sociopath. People like him must destroy everything that has not their own name on it. And they are normally too stupid to have a grasp on reality and possible consequences.

I’m the first guy to say that gas prices and the cost of goods cannot usually be attributed to a president. In this case, you can attribute all those things to decisions Trump has made. Rare moment. He is a terrible and corrupt president.

Trump was given $413,000,000by his father after he died. If he invested that money into a standard investment portfolio, and did literally nothing else with it, he would have made more money than he did with his dozen bankrupt businesses and failed investments.
