I remember in the late eighties / early nineties being Joe Cool with 4MB of RAM and a MASSIVE 20MB hard drive. I think I’ve developed a mental block about the price.

    3. Had the Packard Bell Pentium 75 kit from Comp USA. Fing thing was $2700. Was big bucks for a 23 year old.

    4. The large power bar truly makes this stand out it acts as a single master switch for everything.

Ahh fancy. Both the 5.25″ drive AND the 3.5″ drive. I’m guessing 4MB of RAM maybe?

If I recall, my Windows 95 CD had “extras” on it, and I think one of them was the music video for “Buddy Holly” by Weezer. Groundbreaking for the time!

    6. The dvd drive is a bit anachronistic in this setup. A 4x Creative Labs cd rom drive would fit better.

I’ve seen many computers from this era, but never one that had a dvd drive along with a 5-1/4” floppy

    8. I used computer in then 90s, I assume the thing under the screen is a sound unit? But what’s the thing with red buttons under that?

What a stupid setup. I had monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers and everything else off to one side or under the desk. Not this tower of shit.

    10. I love how we didn’t think at all about whether a component could or couldn’t handle the weight of the ones above it…
