    1. You’re telling me you don’t want to pay Microsoft to risk deleting files from your computer??

    2. Just today at work I sent an email with a PDF and accidentally sent it via OneDrive from my Outlook

Obviously they couldn’t open it without permission.

    3. Microsoft is that one persistent salesperson who sticks a foot in the door every time you try to close it. No, I don’t want to sync my desktop to the cloud for the 100th time.

I swear Windows asks me to set Edge as default more times than my alarm asks me to wake up.

    6. Making Windows 10 installation media with Rufus allows you to skip all the data harvesting.

Serious question for a non tech savvy person, how do I disable/turn off one drive? I keep getting a pop up notification saying my storage is almost full on it

Just uninstall it. Got a new laptop from my work and they didn’t like that I uninstalled onedrive immediately. Why would you want our proprietary and confidential information on the cloud?

Microsoft doesn’t even give you the option to say no. It’s yes or “maybe later.” This seems like rapist mentality where, if you don’t say yes, then you really mean yes anyway.

They need to learn that just because Microsoft wants it, does not mean we want it too. Microsoft has a rapist mentality.

It was useful during college when I accidentally lost a major paper, but should probably be used sparingly.

One Drive is definitely garbage but good luck trying to convince the average user to set up manual backups.

Just uninstall OneDrive and Edge, it’s not that hard, just a couple of clicks.

Try Linux Mint. It takes like a day to get it set up right, but once it is, it Just Fucking Works. Proton means you can play almost all of your steam games or windows games, you just need to install the right version of the compatibility tool and you’ll be running the game better than it ever did on windows

I can play warframe on Ultra graphics now for example
