Fuel prices are crazy though

    1. My jeep used to cost me $600 per month (excluding maintenance) and my EV costs $60 per month. Once my Jeep was fully paid off, I keep it and then I bought a Model 3 a few years ago and the payment was the same cost to fuel my Jeep. So my monthly expenses didn’t change.

    2. Us engine bois heading to the ev / hybrid generator plants.

*We heard they might use guzzolene.*

    3. And of course my EV is getting repaired and I have to drive my daughter’s gas car

Wait until all these unneeded data centers get built and we’re all paying gasoline prices per kilowatt hour for electricity! It’s lose/lose as long as the billionaires get what they want.

    5. Very lucky to have an EV which I can charge at home with my solar panels.

Definitely not looking down on ICE drivers, though. I just wish everyone could have my setup. Saves bundles of cash and the environment. This is how we shake off the chokehold of the oil industry!

I make enough to not need to check the price of groceries or petrol. I’m blessed

Look, I’m just saying this was obviously coming. I bought an ev last year, my 2 friend boughts new civics, one got a ram, one got a modza and the final a Tahoe. I literally bought my car first and warned gas must go up. All said “nahhh and even if it does it won’t be soon”

Listen all of you still thinking about buying a new or used gas car. You better get a great fucking deal because the reality is that evs are cheap used and gas must go up. It is a finite resource that is super political and used by all nations immensely. How the fuck can the trajectory not be up?

My electric bill was over 500 last month, I paid less than 100 on gas. ICE is still the way to go in the northeast

Most electricity is produced by gas powered plants. The increased cost will be ubiquitous.

Okay but in my old busted up Honda civic I don’t feel the effects either. Gas is still cheap at $5 in this thing, so that’s me as well looking at all the pickups that aren’t used for actual work

    11. It’s the other way around where I live cuz good luck charging you car here. Both hard to find a charger and the cars being taxed higher because more horsepowers
