      If not crack that damn ceiling open and go finish the closed off attci???

      If you use some bookends, you could leave a little space on each step to climb up

      My grandparents redid their house in the 70s and their old staircase was covered. It was by the kitchen so they used the old stairs as a pantry

      Only somewhat related but a friend of mine used to live in a house that had an entire Basement that stretched through the town and it was used for liquor during the prohibition era. It was all sealed away but I was always curious about going down there

      I hate it. It feels even more wrong to use stairs as storage, but it makes sense.
