Then it misses the pressure plate and blocks both nostrils for no fucking reason

    2. The worst part is that one second of hope when you roll over before the other side slams shut.

My nose the moment it notices that I’m nasal flooding so I can breathe through both:

I once had nose clogging so bad when I was sick that I had to breathe out of my mouth since I couldnt breathe out of my nose. I snored so much that night. I am so used to breathing out of my nose that It felt weird to breath from my mouth. Usually it is only one nose, in my case usually the same side, the left nostril.

The feeling when both sides completely clear up, and you can actually BREATHE again is unmatched. So good. And then you take it for granted until the next allergy attack/sickness/yourbodyjusthatingyousession.

    6. “The nasal cycle is a normal, subconscious process where the body alternates congestion and decongestion between nostrils every 2 to 6 hours. Controlled by the autonomic nervous system, it allows one nostril to rest, rehydrate, and filter air while the other takes over, preventing dryness and aiding odor detection.” This is the same way boners work. We got nose boners out here .

This is just my regular life. You’re telling me people sleep with 2 open nostrils when they’re not sick? Maybe I need a doctor after all

    8. What I do is switch side and on the small window when I can feel both nostrils unclogged I then turn to face the ceiling and arch my head back as much as I can to force both nostrils to be clean at the same time.
