    1. This applies to all prices after the pandemic.

I had to get a new AC in 2023 and the installer was telling me about how the prices went up in 2020 due to legitimate shortages that had long since been resolved, but the manufacturers just never saw the need to lower the prices again. Since none of them did, they’re all just pocketing the extra profits.

It’s all greed anyway, the price of oil went down a bunch yesterday before going back up again today, because Trump said that he thought the war would end soon. If the prices only went up based purely on supply, the price wouldn’t change regardless of what anyone says, so the price going up is only going up from speculation and not supply.

aka, the price increase is entirely unwarranted and they’re just using it as an excuse to make more money.

    3. What’s the turtle there for, it should just be the flash raising prices in both scenarios

    4. It’s just subtle form of price gouging. Their supply chains arent even disrupted until sometime after the event. But because of the events effect on future prices, and the fact that the people up top have a stake in it, nothing will be done.
