If you heard her live you’d sell it in a heartbeat

“No don’t make a financially responsible choice, I don’t make money!” (If she really wanted to see them, could she not cough up rent for them without making a dent in her wallet?)

So I’ve never been in x or twitter or whatever in my life so I don’t know how the platform works exactly, but the date next to the Katey Perry post says 11/06/2026 at almost midnight. That can’t be right cause that would be months in the future. So is this a fake post or am I misunderstanding how the timestamp on X works?

That’s a great response. It’s funny. Get that money Katy.

Okay I’m going to come out this from a different perspective. That post seems like suicide idealization. She talks about not wanting to live anymore. While Katy Perry encouraging her to go to the concert seems like it’s tone deaf, I’m reminded of an old story told by Star Trek actor James Doohan.
A fan sent him a letter talking about her life and feeling suicidal. He responded and encouraged her to meet with him at the next convention he was going to be at. He met her at said convention. He said she wrote to him later and told him that his kindness probably helped save her life.
I don’t know if that’s what’s going on here, but I could totally see a celebrity seeing a post like the above and encouraging the fan to come to a concert because it gives the suicidal fan something to keep living for, and a chance they could get past that dark moment and continue living.

Ya fkn idiots, the ticket’s already been bought, Katy makes money either way. She’s just being nice to a fan.

This was a great response. If someone feels useless, make them feel welcome.
I get that it sounds like Katy is trying to keep a fan at her show but that’s telling her she wants HER to be alive so she can go…
It’s dumb and a stretch but what the hell is she supposed to do? Tell her to sell it? Offer to buy back any suicidal fans tickets? No you tell them you are happy to see them living. Any time I see someone talking about a suicide attempt I let them know I’m glad they are still here because I can’t tell that to some people who were important to me.
